Beth Symes founded THE PAIDEIA GROUP as a means to help individuals and organizations live and perform to their potential.  Having worked in organizations for the previous twenty years, and for the past several years as a consultant and coach, she observed a tremendous variation in the levels of effectiveness and success experienced from individual to individual.  Although some of that is certainly to be expected based on education, experience and skill sets, etc, she was intrigued by the number of people who performed below their potential, and seemed unaware of their talents and strengths.   

In the course of her coaching work with executives it became apparent that much of what holds people back is a lack of self-awareness and misunderstanding how they come across to others.  Delving into these areas leads to much broader awareness of who we are, and opens doors for personal growth and professional development.
